Strategic Market Entry into Georgia

On March 5, UBlok signed an agreement with Gold Stone, a well-known local building materials company in Georgia, and a third-party team to jointly invest in and construct an aerated concrete (AAC) plant in Georgia with an annual production capacity of 500,000 cubic meters.

Under the agreement, the three parties will leverage their respective core strengths and work closely together to drive the project to fruition. Upon completion, the plant is expected not only to meet local market demand but also to capitalize on Georgia's strategic advantages as a trade transit hub, reaching neighboring countries such as Armenia and Azerbaijan, and further extending to European markets via shipments across the Black Sea.

"This is an important initiative in UBlok's implementation of its internationalization strategy, expanding overseas markets through a combination of “investment, technology, management, and brand,'" said President Stephen Shen at the signing ceremony. "The cooperation among the three parties will unleash a synergistic advantage where 1+1+1>3, accelerating the project from launch to establishment, growth, and eventual fruition."

As a company that has been deeply rooted in the local building materials industry for nearly 20 years, we are very optimistic about the development prospects of AAC products in the local and surrounding markets," said Gao Jinlong, Secretary-General of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Georgia and Chairman of GoldStone. "This cooperation, by leveraging UBlok's advanced technology and proven operational expertise, will drive the transformation of Georgia's building materials industry toward greener, smarter, and more large-scale development, while boosting local employment and economic growth, and deepening the friendship between the peoples of our two countries."

According to data, Georgia is located in the South Caucasus region at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, with a population of 3.7 million and an urbanization rate of 60%. In 2025, the country's GDP grew by 7.5%, driven by manufacturing, telecommunications, and tourism. With its open business environment and trade facilitation, Georgia serves as a regional logistics and commercial hub. The construction sector is buoyed by infrastructure and real estate development, with residential investment reaching approximately US$730 million in 2024. Some 80% of building materials are imported, and projects such as the E60 expressway are advancing. Chinese building materials account for about 45% of the import share.
