Recently, Zhao Yongxiang, the chairman of the company, personally led a team to the project base of UBlok in Perak, Malaysia, which has an annual production capacity of 1 million cubic meters. He intensively visited local government departments and intermediary agencies to arrange key tasks for the next stage, marking the official launch of the UBlok Malaysia project that was postponed due to the pandemic.
"The Malaysia project is an important milestone in UBlok's internationalization. This project will incorporate UBlok's latest R & D achievements, factory - building experience and management models in recent years, striving to build it into a landmark AAC project in Southeast Asia with the largest production scale, the most complete product variety, the highest technological content and the minimum carbon emissions," said Chairman Zhao Yongxiang, full of confidence in the Malaysian market. "The Malaysia project will adopt the 'AAC +' model. Initially, we plan to seek outstanding domestic partners and simultaneously build projects such as steel structures, energy - saving doors and windows, building dry powder, and calcium - silicate boards, turning the base in Perak into an industrial park integrating new technologies of Chinese housing construction materials."
It is reported that in 2022 - 2024 after the pandemic, Malaysia's GDP grew by 8.7%, 3.7% and 5.1% respectively; the construction industry maintained a compound growth rate of over 5% annually. The UBlok base in Perak covers an area of nearly 200,000 square meters. The surrounding area is rich in resources such as quartz sand, cement and lime, making it an important building materials production base in Malaysia. UBlok purchased the land in 2018, and after completing land re - classification and various approvals in 2019, it encountered the sudden three - year pandemic. After re - completing various project investigations last year, the company decided to restart the project.
